Overview:
Vedanarayana Puram is an ancient megalithic complex located in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. It is composed of roughly 200 cairns, cists and stone circles, which are believed to date back to over 2000 BC. The stones of the cairns, cists and circles display a variety of symbols, including human figures, animals, faces, crude tools and weapons, and other decorated geometrical designs. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.

The most prominent feature at Vedanarayana Puram is its collection of large stone circles.These circles were built by arranging massive stones in a fan-shaped or circular pattern.
